Rainbow Flames

You're probably used to two types of flames around the household, or the home ec room: The orange flame you commonly see, and a blue flame from the butane or propane tank commonly used for cooking or chemistry work.

Of course, flames do not always manifest in just these two colours (for those who remember the flame tornado demonstration; for those who don't, it's worth looking up!) and today we'll cover a bit more on the safety concerns regarding the experimentation, and application of these different metal salt flames.
